help me, heather!......xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.......

Argh! My password won't work!

Be sure, for starters, to remember that passwords are case-sensitive. That means that if the username you chose was "JaneDoe" and you type in "janedoe" it won't work. You have to type in your username and password EXACTLY as you chose them. Too, be sure you're letting the pages actually take the few moments it does to fully load. If you've done both of those things and it still isn't working, drop us a line.

What if I forget my password?
Send us mail with your name and transaction number , and we'll get it to you as soon as possible.

Can I share my password?
No. As noted in the terms and conditions which you must agree to before signing up, all subscriptions are nontransferable. That means you cannot share your password or distribute it in any way, or give your membership to someone else.

How can I use the content?
As shown in the terms of membership, we provide the materials on this site for the personal, noncommercial use by viewers, fans, visitors, subscribers and/or potential subscribers of Scarlet Letters. You are granted a single copy license to download or print one copy of any of the information made available for downloading found on this site for personal, noncommercial use only. Commercial use of Scarlet Letters, or any material located on it, is strictly prohibited. In addition, you may not: modify any of the materials found in any area, remove, modify or alter any copyright or other proprietary notice, or trademarks, or otherwise transfer any material to any other person or entity. We reserve the right to terminate this license at any time if you breach or violate any provision of this agreement.

Do you share the member list or distribute my personal information?
Absolutely not. We do not release any personal information, or our members list, to any other company. We may occasionally post demographic information in our media kit, but that information is always anonymous, and we do not sell it or redistribute in any way.

Can my subscription be revoked, even if I pay for it?
It certainly can, skipper. Based on the terms and conditions you agree to when you signup, if you breach or violate any of them, including but not limited to harassing other members, or violating trademark, copyright, or the limited license granted to you, we can cancel your subscription without any notice. In other words, play nice, and be a good surfer.

What if your server goes down, or I can't get to the material I want to?
Let us know, and we'll do the best we can to get it running to speed (though we have never had our current server go down). However, the web is not without its hiccups, and the terms of use you agree to states explicitly that we are not accountable for such occasional hiccups, nor do we warranty specific content or availability, and we cannot be held liable for anything in this vein. We are, however, committed to providing quality service, so do let us know if you have any trouble so that we can set to fix it promptly.
What does "recurring" mean?
That you will be billed on the cycle stated until you cancel. Presently, recurring billing cycles are in three or six month increments for your convenience.

What if I don't want a recurring membership?
Then, by golly, you don't have to have one. You may subscribe for a non-recurring annual membership. See our subscribe page for details.

How can I cancel my subscription?
Use our simple cancellation form. Fill it out as explicitly as possible, and we will promptly cancel your subscription and issue a refund if necessary. You may cancel your membership at any time.

How can I change my billing options?
Simply cancel your current membership, and go through the signup window again and open a new subscription with the options you wish to change to, or drop us a line and we'll help.

I am a reviewer. How do I get a password to review this site?
Send Heather a note, and she'll take good care of you.
