Pure As the Driven Slush: Heather Corinna's Journal and Diary, Online since 1999
April 3rd, 2007

I always forget that really high fevers seriously fry your brains to shite. The entriety of yesterday is utterly lost to me.

Somehow this weekend — I’m guessing while spending a couple hours sharing steam with a pile of women at the Olympus this weekend in between photo shoots — I picked up one helluva bug, resulting in my spiking a 103 fever yesterday afternoon. As of today, I seem to be getting on the mend, but one shouldn’t expect to be hearing from me for a few days more.

I swear, it’s always something.

SO sad to know that you are febrile.

Drink a lot of water and piss. That’s one of the ways along with medicine that you get well soon.

Oh no! I hope you are well soon . . .
Between you getting sick and me having more work than I know what to do with (24 more hours . . . then a break . . .) it’s probably best we didn’t end up hanging out this weekend. I hope your shoots went well!

I lost most of last week to illness (Saturday through Wednesday, which sucked for my trip to the San Juans), although I couldn’t sleep so much. It was more just being immobile mentally and physically. I hope you feel better and get back to healthy quickly!

    hope you feel better soon!

(we’re currently experiencing a nasty little “last slap of winter” here, so I’m hiding inside for a different reason)

I think the last time I had a fever of 103, I asked someone to shoot me! So hopefully, you get well soon…sounds like that’s the case…here :)
