In hindsight, it might not have been the best idea ever to leave the little bottle of carpet cleaning fluid right next to the little bottle of coffee creamer.

    Didn’t expect this would worry anyone, sorry!

    But no: feel free to laugh away — I’m fine. Once I got the coffee up near my nose to take a sniff, it smelled pretty bizarre, and it was then I realized my error.

    And thank christ, because having to call into work and tell them that I couldn’t go in because I put carpet cleaner in my own coffee would have resulted in my being the big joke at the clinic for years.

    Ok, good to know. I just had the laugh I was holding in. Next time you want a *special* flavor/chemical in your coffee, just try some Bailey’s cream or the new coffee flavored liquor that Starbucks makes!

    glad you caught it, without the caffiene wakeup, seriously.
