					<description>ha! thank you for sharing this. sofia was way more interesting and into the debates than sage was; he pretty much just drank the whole way through them.

i had a lot of friends tweet about how they thought Obama didn't do as well as they would have liked - but most of the world seems to disagree, and praised him for &quot;holding his own&quot; against McCain re: Foreign Policy acumen.  

ultimately, we settled on the &quot;Harry Potter Movie&quot; phenomenon - when you've read the books, the films can be a disappointment: &quot;why didn't he say this? why did he change that? oh man he left out the part about ___!!!&quot;

so i'd say it's something of a testament to one's deep personal investment in the candidate that makes for high sensitivity about their performance. and of course we wanted to him to &quot;hit it out of the park&quot;, as they say - but i'll take the &quot;draw&quot; that most of the talking heads are giving the debate.</description>
