She was on a bus (down in California, where she lives) and overheard two 14 or 15 year old girls talking. One was noting that she was feeling nauseous, the other one said "You're pregnant!" and the first girl said "I'd better not be pregnant!" Over the course of the bus ride my girlfriend ended up talking with them and chatting with the first girl, who'd just gotten a positive pregnancy test. They had a really frank conversation about pregnancy and options and at the end of the bus ride, my sweetie handed her a slip of paper with Scarleteen's URL written on it, noting that if she wants to look for nonjudgemental advice and information, that's the place to do it. It was a pretty moving part of her week, and I thought you might appreciate the story. In other news, I go by your house at least once a week and keep thinking to drop by or drop off some cupcakes or something. Ok with you?
