Sorry to lower the level of discourse in here for a few minutes, but I just about lost sphincter control when I watched this, and when I showed to Heather she thought she was back under Dr. Barry's nitrous oxide.
Enjoy!

Heath...
Love your sparkling little chicklets, darling.
Glad to see the breathing is continuing to work!

The whiteness! So very bright! Bring me my shades :)
Don't clean and healthy teeth just feel fabulous? With the feeling, of course, returning after the novacaine has worn off... wheeeeee!

Teeth by Barry. They're still more than a little tender, but today Barry went for the gusto and did all the work in one fell swoop. Lots of nitrous for me to start my day with. Whee.
It should be noted that when finished -- and in the oresence of a giggling witness, a dental hygenist who can confirm this -- Dr. Barry said, "You look beautiful!...Oops, I mean, your teeth. Your teeth look beautiful." Swoon, sigh.
And now the work is over, just when we started to have this good thing going. How depressing. B. however, will be happy. He's getting more than a little sick of hearing about my rescuer.

Pardon me while I die laughing. Per the referrer stats on SL this morning, a pile of people were translating the main page into German.
Note how my name translated: des Heidekrautcorinna. That is so bloody funny. I love it. What it did to R. Gay's name is damn amusing too.

Heather,
Hope you got some rest last night...sending all the energy I can muster your way :)
For the record, Key Lime Luna Bars are the bomb. I'm going to send you some to put by your computer so you can eat more regularly!

Heather...
Print this out and pull it out every hour or two:
BREATH. PAUSE. BREATH. PAUSE [repeat to the tune of about one breath every 4-5 seconds]
The closer you get to your deadline, the more often you need to stop, pull out the printout, and practice the mantra I just gave you.As with Tai Chi, mastery is in how slow you can do it, not how fast.
Love ya.

As Hour 16 of today's work begins, I have swapped coffee for a raspberry screwdriver, and Bob Dylan for Heart (notably, "Crazy on You" and "Magic Man" which I have now played about 10 times in a row each). I fear I am losing my mind. I can no longer count pages. Actually, I can no longer count, period. I cannot remember a time when I could. Doom is upon me.

Current totals: 383 HTML pages coded, endless graphics files, an entire UBB forum and now I get to upload it all over again because idiot me spaced over the last week that rather than nestling the directory to hide it within the current one, I could have just named it something different and them renamed it. Ouch.
My Drovers CD is dead, which stinks, since they were my favorite local Chicago band and I don't even think the CD is purchasable away from their shows (after Kathleen Keane left though, they pretty much sucked).
On to the uploading and time to make more coffee. Did remember to eat a little bit ago, though. Thank heaven for soy cheese.

mmmmmmmmmmm, cake. What kind of cake? Rain-soaked cake is baaaaaaad, though. Bleh.
Dear lord, I'm reading a list of appropriate etiquette for addressing invitation envelopes, and it is roughly 5012 items long. Just get me married, I say.

P.S. Someone left the cake out in the rain.

Well, B. got off fine, though it appears he somehow managed to pack the cordless phone, since he was on it last night while packing, and it appears to have gone completely missing. Alevei!
With no further adieu, I bring you...Letters Home from HTML Hell
So, I am officially less than 24 hours away from the release. This morning, the CD player has run a progression of Bob Dylan (Love and Theft), Lucinda Williams (Car Wheels on a Gravel Road), The Beatles (Abbey Road), Paula Cole (This Fire), and I have now shofted into high gear with Donna Summer (On the Radio).
I am armed with coffee, six remaining cigarettes, a solid six hours sleep from last night, and GeniSoy bars. I would readily drink someone else's bongwater at this point for a little extra help.
As of today, for the SL rehaul, I have coded and redesigned a total of 314 pages, and a shitload of graphics files to go with them all. And I'm still going, and going, and....

Hope B. made it off safely! Oooooohhh, a woman alone! Of course, a woman alone with a fuckload of work to do, but maybe you can celebrate a bit tomorrow night ;)
Let us know if we can help!
