Changing Times
Times really are changing. And yeah, for the better, and in odd ways.
Playboy is getting really weird lately. Already this year, they have shown far more women with tattoos than I have noticed before, and the March issue actually features a gorgeous babe with a pierced nipple. How cool is that?
They also did a feature on porn stars in March, which was formerly a no-no for Playboy- in the past, they refused to feature women who worked in adult film. Although the article was rather silly in some respects, it also pointed out that women in modern porn are not victims, but independent and self-possessed. I thought that was cool.
Oh, and here's an odd thing- an acquaintance of mine submitted a story to Penthouse Variations last year, and they turned it down because it involved adultery. Whoda thunk it?

Calling all girly-girls (and hell, any girly boys) here who like to play with makeup:
I just did my seasonal color review for cosmeticconnection.com, which has always been a big hit. If you would like to read it, you can do so here:

Heather,
I can only ditto what Peter and Cilla have said; you need to get this documented as soon as possible. Ana's caretaker needs to realize that if she blows this off, the next time it happens, the circumstances could be far worse than they were in this case. So, go to the doctor, file a report, and take care of yourself.

Holy SHIT Heather!!
I decided to check in on you tonight and found your tale of mayhem. I am so glad you're alright (i.e. not dead or hospitalized.)
Do take Peter's advice, these people must have some form of Worker's Comp.
I've been in that scary place. I am so sorry that this happened :(
Please, put your safety, physical and emotional, first.

Heather...
OMG, I feel for you. Literally, actually, as I had the same thing happen to me working on a psych ward. It only took me 5-10 minutes to get help, which seemed a lifetime but far beyond what you went through.
Dear, before any longer go to an ER and tell them it is an ON THE JOB injury. Get it documented.
And drop a note, eh? Let's talk.
