Slushpile

Sabrina made me swear to check in this way periodically while I was in Montreal so that she knew I was alive.

So, voila! I'm here and alive. Getting here was really totally uneventful, and Seska and James and I had a mellow night of dinner, a little walking and some very silly movies before we passed out in the heat at bedtime. I managed to make the archaic coffeemaker work this morning, so all is right with the world. Hopefully, the two of them will wake up eventually. It appears mail arrives here at 8:30 AM, pushed right through the apartment door. I think I just narrowly avoided a coronary from the sudden "BOOM" on the door. Eek!

Today is the ever important Lush pilgrimage. More shopping, then coffee with two Scarleteen volunteers in the early evening. Nice and mellow. Save that I'll come home armed with enough bath bombs to clean a small country.

Just a note: other people on the plane appear to be rather uncomfortable if your choice of reading matter is a novel involving the forensics of plane crashes. People are so sensitive, I swear.

Yes, I've been a bad blog mama. But I've no choice but to redeem myself, since Sabrina made me swear to check in this way periodically while I was in Montreal so that she knew I was alive.
